Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 14, 2026
This privacy policy explains how Princeton IT Services, Inc. (“we”, “us”, “Princeton”) collects, uses, and protects personal information through the Business Card Intelligence marketing website at bizcardiq.com. It covers information you share with us through this website and when you contact us. It does not cover data processed inside the Business Card Intelligence software, which runs within your own organization’s cloud environment — see “A note about the product” below.
What personal information do we collect?
We collect only the information you choose to give us: your name, work email, company, and phone number when you request a demo, contact us, or fill out a form, together with anything you include in those messages. When you visit the site, our hosting infrastructure records standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type, and, with your consent where required, our analytics provider collects information about how you use the site.
When do we collect information?
We collect information from you when you visit the website, request a demo, fill out a form, or contact us by email.
How do we use your information?
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and demo requests.
- Provide, deploy, and support Business Card Intelligence for customers.
- Send administrative and, where you’ve agreed, marketing communications.
- Measure and improve our website’s performance and understand how visitors use it, in aggregate.
- Maintain the security of our website.
- Meet our legal and accounting obligations.
A note about the product
The Business Card Intelligence software is deployed into your own organization’s cloud environment. Business cards you scan, the leads created from them, and the follow-up drafts all stay within your organization’s tenant. We do not have access to that data, and we do not store it. This website privacy policy covers only the marketing website; the software itself is covered by a separate product privacy policy.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for the website to function. With your consent where required, we also use cookies and similar technologies from Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. If you are in the EEA or UK, we set these analytics technologies only after you consent, and you can accept or decline them and change your choice at any time. We do not use cookies for advertising or to track you across other websites.
Third-party disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to outside parties. We share it only with service providers who help us operate our website and respond to you — such as our hosting and email providers — and only as needed to provide those services. We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to help us analyze website traffic; Google processes this information on our behalf in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy.
International data transfers
Our analytics provider, Google, may process and store information in the United States. Where data is transferred from the EEA or UK to the United States, that transfer relies on Google’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and the UK Extension), together with standard contractual clauses where applicable.
Data retention
We keep the information you send us only as long as needed to respond to you and manage our business relationship, then delete or anonymize it. Information collected through Google Analytics is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. Aggregated reporting that does not identify individuals may be retained for longer.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you’ve given us, or unsubscribe from marketing at any time, by emailing privacy@princetonits.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (EEA/UK) or the CCPA (California), including the right to complain to a data protection authority.
California privacy (CalOPPA & CCPA)
- You can browse our website without identifying yourself.
- This policy is linked using the word “Privacy” and is easy to find.
- We will post any changes to this policy on this page.
- You can request access to, or deletion of, your personal information by emailing us.
- We do not sell or share personal information.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond, we handle all visitors the same way: we use analytics to understand how our site is used, but we do not permit cross-site behavioral advertising tracking, and we do not allow third parties to track your activity across other websites through our site.
Children’s privacy
Our website is intended for business use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information and will address any incident promptly and in line with applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, is always posted on this page.
